The split level garden reflects the period style of the the house, while safely connecting the garden levels, maximizing a children’s play area and connecting an area for occasional off street parking.

The lower area is linked to the main garden by a set of custom-made granite steps and metal handrail securing the side of the steps and the upper patio area.

The main garden is split in two by a granite wall constructed from granite salvaged on site.  The main lower area has a granite patio with a small artificial lawn surrounded by planting areas.

The upper area has dual purpose. A car turntable has been installed, enabling turning of a car in the confined space. The artificial lawn conceals the turntable when not is use and also provides a safe play area for children.
